Cynthia is the CEO of NetSpeed Learning, author of Great Webinars: Interactive Learning that is Captivating, Informative and Fun, and co-author (with Ray Olitt) of, Peer Power: Transforming Workplace Relationships (to be republished in 2021 as Managing Workplace Conflict.

She earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Directing from the University of Washington and promptly entered the corporate arena, first working in Human Resource roles for nine years at a regional bank, followed by three years as the manager of the training department at Seattle Children's Hospital. She started her consulting practice in 1992 and has since led the development of NetSpeed Learning, building better leaders and more engaging facilitators in the virtual workplace.

Her diverse clients have included Genentech/Roche, Grainger, Providence Health & Services, Navy Federal Credit Union, Volvo Trucks, Novartis, Bright Horizons, the National Park Service, and the US Army Corp of Engineers. She is a member of ISA (the association of learning providers) where she has served on the Board of Directors and was honored as Contributor of the Year. She is a frequent presenter for the Association for Talent Development (International Conference, Tech Knowledge Conference, and local chapters around the country), Training Magazine, and Training Industry. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Whatcom County Dispute Resolution Center.

Cynthia is passionate about developing dynamic face-to-face or online learning experiences that change individual behavior and transform the hybrid workplace or the virtual workplace. She delivers keynotes and workshops, at both face-to-face and virtual conferences, that engage the brain, awaken the spirit, and inspire action.
